Why Paypal? 

Advantages for Receiver

  • Depending on your Paypal Account status your Paypal to Paypal account transactions are free. Since there are no credit cards involved, credit processing fee is not applicable. This means that we will not charge any processing fee as well. The entire contribution by your guests via Paypal is made available to you. It is straight from your giver to you!. (Note however that if giver uses his/her credit card at Paypal then Paypal will still charge their credit card fees)
  • You can accept payments from your International friends & Family. GiftWisdom currently cannot process International Payments, so Paypal is your only option for such payments.
  • The contribution amount is deposited directly into your paypal amount. No need to wait for a check from GiftWisdom.

    • Note for Receiver: As per Paypal, your Paypal account must have a "Verified" status. It does not cost you anything to get verified. You can get this by linking your paypal account to your checking account with a major bank. Check Paypal.com for more details.

    Advantages for Giver

  • Since there are no credit card charges involved, your entire contribution is given to the receiver. Note: If you use credit card to pay with Paypal, charges may still apply.
  • Its easy and quick. You just need your email address with a paypal account.
